Tim was appointed lighting designer for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Opening & Closing Ceremonies. Working for Jack Morton Worldwide, Tim created 2 very different looking shows in 2 stadiums on opposite sides of the city of Glasgow. Tim received great support from lighting manufacturer Robe Lighting and integrated over 500 of their fixtures into his design including the first ever use of their new signature unit the BMFL.

Tim looked after all the broadcast and event lighting liasing with both the host broadcast service and the needs of the production. Using a rig much smaller than ceremonies had used before Tim was still able to create stunning large scale lighting looks with a fraction of the equipment normally used.
